GE Appliances, a Haier company, in Louisville, KY, seeks a Senior Process Improvement Engineer to drive operational excellence in our manufacturing value stream. You will lead a production area, coach teams, and ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals are met.

You will champion lean practices, kaizen events, and continuous improvement, collaborating with Manufacturing Engineering and HR. A 5+ year manufacturing leadership background and a BS in Engineering are required, with Six Sigma

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (BS/BA) required or in progress.
• Experience with metal fabrication and/or automated equipment operations.
• Six Sigma certification preferred; strong knowledge of Lean, DMAIC, and continuous improvement.
• Proven track record driving results via analytical problem solving, planning, and cross-functional teamwork.
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing principles in an operations setting.
• Leadership or technical experience in manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, materials management, quality, procurement, or fulfillment.
• Ability to collaborate across all levels, including maintaining positive union relations.
• Strong organizational skills and initiative to drive multiple priorities.

Responsabilités

• Lead and optimize performance within a designated production area, improving safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Oversee maintenance, continuous improvement, and efficiency of equipment across lines and fabrication areas.
• Coordinate daily production start-up with Operations Manager; ensure proper staffing and smooth operation.
• Monitor production data to identify gaps and communicate across shifts.
• Implement and sustain lean practices and standardized work for stability.
• Coach operators and team leaders to adhere to processes and standards.
• Lead problem-solving and root-cause analysis; drive kaizen events and countermeasures.
• Champion the Appliance Production System and continuous improvement culture.
