Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, Camden plant, seeks a Senior Process Improvement Engineer to drive operational excellence in a high-volume production area. You will own equipment performance, lead continuous improvement initiatives and champion world-class safety, quality, delivery and cost performance.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, ensure TPM/PM plans, and support new product introductions with manufacturing input and validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; 5+ years of Manufacturing Engineering/Operations/Quality support roles.
• Six Sigma certification with knowledge of Lean, DMAIC and related methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with high-volume manufacturing equipment and process control.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize equipment and tooling in the assigned production area to maximize uptime and compliance.
• Lead root cause analysis, Kaizen events and standard work implementation to reduce waste and improve throughput.
• Lead safety, quality, and process audits; partner with Quality and Operations on corrective actions.
• Provide technical leadership to production teams and collaborate across maintenance and engineering on long-term improvements.
• Represent manufacturing during new product launches and coordinate equipment qualification and process validation.
