Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Process Engineering Manager to lead the Process Engineering Team in designing and implementing advanced manufacturing processes across our North American facilities. You will drive safety, quality, cost reduction, and efficiency while mentoring engineers and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

This senior role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering and 7+ years of leadership experience, with strong background in SPC/DOE and Lean Six Sigma, plus travel as needed to support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Seven or more years of engineering or plant manufacturing leadership experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in Statistical Process Control, DOE, TPM, PFMEA and Lean/Six-Sigma.
• Ability to coach, teach and develop a team of engineers.
• Experience with MOC, PHAs and HAZOPs.
• Experience with OSHA and EPA regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency with MS Office and tools like Minitab.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Process Engineering Team by establishing goals and budgets.
• Collaboratively develop plans with other manufacturing leaders to meet safety, quality, and production targets.
• Ensure timely execution of projects for equipment and processes.
• Drive adoption of the New Product Process to meet launch dates.
• Maintain robust Process Control Plans and robust manufacturing processes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and manage change through PHAs, MOC, and HAZOPs.
• Support New Product Development and collaboration with Value Streams.
• Investigate quality issues and interface with Quality for corrective actions.
• Promote health, safety, and environmental policies and a culture of safety.
