Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, materials, ceramic or mechanical engineering; MS preferred.
• 3-5 years experience in engineering/manufacturing solving process problems.
• Ability to apply engineering principles to technical projects.
• Creative and innovative problem solving approaches and execution.
• Experience completing projects in manufacturing.
• Excellent analytical skills and data-driven decision making.
• Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of new or improved processes at Corning facilities worldwide.
• Lead and support solving problems using structured methods (KT, DOE, Six Sigma).
• Champion Process Control and Process Discipline systems in operations; analyze data with statistical tools.
• Measure and communicate performance against objectives and document processes; mentor operators.
