Job summary
Hargrove is seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to lead process design on capital projects across chemical, petrochemical, refining and industrial manufacturing sectors. You will serve as Process Lead on large, multi-disciplinary programs, guiding safety-focused solutions and delivering PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment specs.
You will collaborate with mechanical, piping, civil, electrical, and controls teams to ensure compliant, safe, and cost-effective execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master in Chemical/Mechanical/Biochemical/Petroleum Engineering is required.
- 6+ years of process engineering experience in chemical/petrochemical/refining or related industries.
- Professional Engineer license or CPIP preferred.
- Willingness to travel for pre-bid meetings and site visits.
Responsibilities
- Lead process engineering on capital projects for chemical, petrochemical, refining and industrial facilities.
- Serve as Process Lead on large, concurrent projects with multidisciplinary teams.
- Develop and review PFDs, P&IDs, material and energy balances, equipment datasheets, and design basis documents.
- Perform and review hydraulic calculations and process safety evaluations (PHA/HAZOP/LOPA).
- Support FEED, conceptual design, cost estimates, and client presentations.
