Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Chemical, Mechanical, Biochemical, or Petroleum Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• 10 years of relevant industrial experience in chemical, petroleum, or biochemical process design engineering.
• Professional Engineering registration or CPIP certification highly preferred.
• Ability to train others in process safety and site safety requirements.
• Knowledge of process safety and its incorporation into process design.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide technical direction to engineers and designers on major capital projects.
• Develop process engineering deliverables, calculations, reports, and drawings to meet budgets and quality standards.
• Plan, organize, and communicate project team work for large capital projects.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and participate in interviews and evaluations.
• Develop bid packages and handle vendor information and discipline inputs.
