Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead a team delivering process design for major capital projects. You will supervise engineers and designers, ensure on-time, on-budget delivery, and act as a technical specialist on complex assignments.

You will contribute to estimates, standards, and procedures, while mentoring less experienced engineers and coordinating across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Chemical, Mechanical, Biochemical, or Petroleum Engineering from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineering registration or CPIP certification is highly preferred.
• 15+ years of relevant industrial experience in chemical, petroleum, or biochemical process design.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety culture and apply safety concepts in process design.
• Review and approve all process engineering deliverables.
• Develop design criteria and cost studies for major capital projects; lead a small team to deliver commitments.
