Job summary
Hargrove Engineers + Constructors in Columbus, OH seeks a Senior Process Engineer to lead process design on chemical, petrochemical and industrial projects. You will act as Process Lead on large capital efforts, develop PFDs, P&IDs, HMBs, equipment datasheets, and design basis documents while ensuring safety, operability and cost-effective execution.
You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with multi-discipline teams, support front-end loading, feasibility studies, and field startup
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master of Science in Chemical, Mechanical, Biochemical, or Petroleum Engineering.
- PE license or registration preferred.
- 6+ years of process engineering experience on large capital projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead process engineering activities on capital projects across chemical, petrochemical, refining, and industrial manufacturing.
- Serve as Process Lead on large projects and multiple concurrent efforts.
- Develop PFDs, P&IDs, material & energy balances, equipment datasheets, and design basis documents.
- Perform hydraulic calculations and process safety integrations.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and support field startup activities.
