Job summary

GHD is seeking an accomplished Senior Process Engineer in the Water/Wastewater sector to drive advanced process designs for municipal and industrial facilities across the US. The role includes mentoring staff, collaborating with national experts, and leading process engineering for large projects.

You will contribute to technical proposals, perform complex modeling, and support startup and field operations while engaging manufacturers to stay at the cutting edge of treatment technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or Master's in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Professional Engineer license.
• Minimum 8 years of wastewater treatment design experience.
• Ability to lead process engineering for large, complex projects.
• Excellent written and oral communication, mentoring and leadership.
• Strong business development, proposal and client-facing skills.
• Flexible and able to meet challenging deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Execute advanced process designs for municipal and industrial wastewater facilities.
• Collaborate with national experts to implement innovative technologies.
• Mentor junior process engineers to ensure growth and quality.
• Assist with technical proposals, crafting process approaches and solutions.
• Conduct complex process modeling and QA/QC reviews of calculations and drawings.
• Lead technical workshops for clients to evaluate alternatives and CAPEX outcomes.
• Support on-site startups and operational troubleshooting.
• Engage with equipment manufacturers to stay current on technology trends.
• Manage bench- and pilot-scale studies and provide scale-up recommendations.
• Develop multi-criteria and life-cycle cost analyses for decision making.
• Participate in regional and national professional organizations and conferences.
