Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Process Engineer in the United States with ductile iron casting and MAGMA simulation experience. The role focuses on analyzing, optimizing and validating casting processes to improve yield, quality and consistency across shifts.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in engineering and 2+ years of hands-on process engineering in manufacturing, preferably with a foundry background. SolidWorks and MAGMA experience are strong pluses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Two or more years of hands-on process engineering in manufacturing.
• Foundry background with ductile iron casting; process simulation or continuous improvement experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize ductile iron casting processes to improve yield, quality and consistency.
• Run casting simulations in MAGMA to validate process changes before they hit the floor.
• Lead root cause investigations on process deviations and drive corrective action to close them out.
• Partner with production and quality teams to hold process control across every shift.
• Support new product launches, testing and validation from a process standpoint.
• Bring new technology and process improvements into daily operations.
