Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Process Engineer in the United States to optimize ductile iron casting processes and improve yield and quality across shifts.

You will run MAGMA simulations to validate changes before production, lead root cause investigations, and collaborate with production and quality teams to sustain process control. SolidWorks experience and foundry background are highly valued to drive continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
• 2+ years of hands-on process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
• Foundry background or ductile iron casting experience strongly preferred
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize ductile iron casting processes to improve yield, quality and consistency
• Run casting simulations in MAGMA to validate process changes before they hit the floor
• Lead root cause investigations on process deviations and drive corrective action
• Partner with production and quality teams to hold process control across every shift
• Support new product launches, testing and validation from a process standpoint
• Bring new technology and process improvements into daily operations
