Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Two or more years of hands on process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Foundry background with ductile iron casting, process simulation or continuous improvement experience is a strong plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to work across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and optimize ductile iron casting processes to improve yield, quality and consistency.
  • Run casting simulations in MAGMA to validate process changes before they hit the floor.
  • Lead root cause investigations on process deviations and drive corrective action to close them out.
  • Partner with production and quality teams to hold process control across every shift.
  • Support new product launches, testing and validation from a process standpoint.
  • Bring new technology and process improvements into daily operations.
