Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Process Engineer in Michigan with hands-on ductile iron casting experience. You will analyze and optimize casting processes to improve yield and quality, run MAGMA simulations to validate changes, and lead root-cause investigations across shifts, partnering with production and quality teams.

Responsibilities include supporting new product launches and driving daily process improvements. Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 2+ years in a foundry environment are required;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
• Two or more years of hands on process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
• Foundry background required, ductile iron casting, process simulation or continuous improvement experience is a strong plus
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to work well across teams

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize ductile iron casting processes to improve yield, quality and consistency
• Run casting simulations in MAGMA to validate process changes before they hit the floor
• Lead root cause investigations on process deviations and drive corrective action to close them out
• Partner with production and quality teams to hold process control across every shift
• Support new product launches, testing and validation from a process standpoint
• Bring new technology and process improvements into daily operations
