Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Process Engineer in Dallas, TX to analyze and optimize ductile iron casting processes and improve yield and quality. You will run MAGMA simulations, lead root-cause investigations, and work with production and quality teams to maintain process control across shifts.

The role supports new product launches and daily improvements. Qualified candidates have a bachelor's in engineering and 2+ years of hands-on process engineering in manufacturing, with foundry or casting experience

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
2+ years of hands-on process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
Foundry background with ductile iron casting preferred.
Experience with casting simulations (MAGMA) and process optimization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Analyze and optimize ductile iron casting processes to improve yield, quality and consistency.
Run casting simulations in MAGMA to validate process changes before they hit the floor.
Lead root cause investigations on process deviations and drive corrective actions.
Collaborate with production and quality to maintain process control across shifts.
Support new product launches, testing and validation from a process standpoint.
Introduce new technology and process improvements into daily operations.
