Job summary

IDEX is seeking a Senior Process Engineer in Farmington, CT to provide technical leadership for complex manufacturing processes and cross-functional initiatives. You will drive capability expansion, ensure safety and quality, and mentor teams across value streams.

Responsibilities include leading programsc from concept to production, designing processes, and implementing improvements to increase throughput and reduce costs. Strong problem-solving and Six Sigma expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Materials Science or related engineering (advanced degree a plus).
• Seven+ years of progressive process/manufacturing/industrial engineering experience in high-precision, regulated environments.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects from concept through production release.
• Proficiency in structured problem-solving, FMEA, control plans, and statistical methods.

Responsibilities

• Own technical performance and long-term capability of assigned processes or technologies.
• Lead cross-functional projects from concept through production, including scope, risk, schedule, and budget.
• Develop advanced process designs, operating windows, control strategies, and qualification plans.
• Lead root-cause investigations using data analysis and statistical methods.
