Job summary

IDEX's Mott division in Farmington, CT is seeking a Process Engineer to partner with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain and Project Engineering to design, document, and improve safe, capable manufacturing processes. You’ll translate product and customer requirements into repeatable production methods to boost quality, delivery, and cost performance.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering and 2+ years in process or manufacturing engineering, with experience in Lean, Six Sigma, CAD,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Materials Science, or related engineering field.
2+ years of process/manufacturing/industrial engineering experience preferred.
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, statistical methods (SPC/8D) preferred.
Ability to collaborate with operators, technicians, and cross-functional teams in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

Support daily production by troubleshooting process and equipment issues; maintain safety, quality, and cost targets.
Develop and maintain work instructions, routings, BOMs, and process detail sheets.
Collaborate with Project Engineering and Supply Chain to evaluate manufacturability and transfer new products to production.
Lead process transfers, validations, and improvements with clear results and sustained controls.
