Job summary

IDEX in Farmington, CT is seeking a Process Engineer to partner with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain and Project Engineering to develop, document, and improve safe, capable manufacturing processes.

You will convert product and customer requirements into repeatable production methods, support daily production, create work instructions, process routes, control plans, and participate in root cause investigations to sustain improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Materials Science).
• 2+ years in process/manufacturing/industrial engineering preferred; internships/co-ops considered.

Responsibilities

• Support daily production by troubleshooting process/equipment issues.
• Develop work instructions, standard work, routes, BOMs, process detail sheets, control plans.
• Transfer new/modified processes from development to production with cross-functional teams.
• Collect/analyze process data to identify variation, bottlenecks and waste; implement improvements.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions for nonconformances.
