Job summary

IDEX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, implement and optimize manufacturing processes for highly engineered rotational equipment. You will collaborate with production, quality, engineering, and facilities to support new product introduction and existing product optimization.

The role focuses on efficiency, safety, and quality, with opportunities to lead lean initiatives and contribute to ISO-related procedures. Competitive benefits and a strong team environment are offered.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering; 3+ years’ experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma/KANBAN or Kaizen experience.
Proficiency with Creo Parametric or SolidWorks for design.
Experience with PLC programming, controls systems, and electronics.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve safety, efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
Develop and maintain work instructions, process flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures for air blower assembly and production.
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure manufacturability of new products, providing input on design changes to improve production efficiency.
Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs for production equipment and tooling.
Monitor KPIs such as cycle times, downtime, and defect rates to identify improvement opportunities.
