Job summary

Markent Personnel, Inc. is seeking a 3rd Shift Senior Process Control Technician for a leading North American die casting manufacturer in the Cedarburg area.

You will monitor high-pressure aluminum casting cells, analyze defects, and optimize process parameters to improve first-pass yield on a fast-paced production floor. The role requires 2+ years of tenure per employer, experience in process control or troubleshooting, and full work authorization in the United States.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of tenure at each previous employer is required.
• 2+ years of hands-on process control experience in a manufacturing environment (aluminum die casting preferred).
• Must reside within a 45-minute commute of Cedarburg, WI.
• High School Diploma or GED required; technical diploma preferred; US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Monitor critical process variables: melt temps, shot profiles, injection speeds, pressures, cycle times, and lubrication.
• Analyze and resolve casting defects: porosity, cold shuts, soldering, blisters, flash, misruns, shrinkage.
• Optimize machine parameters for new products and existing runs.
• Maintain process setup sheets and operating instructions for setup techs and operators.
• Execute production trials with QA/engineering to improve yield and reduce scrap.
• Support quality: review X-ray data and ensure customer specs are met.
• Train floor personnel on standardized parameters and best practices.
