Job summary

Ashton North LLC in Cedarburg, WI, is seeking a 3rd Shift Senior Process Control Technician for a high-volume aluminum die casting operation. You will monitor critical process parameters, perform root-cause analysis on defects, and optimize machine settings for new launches and ongoing production.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years tenure at each previous employer
• 2+ years of process control or technical troubleshooting in manufacturing
• Must reside within 45-minute commute of Cedarburg, WI
• US work authorization
• High School Diploma or GED; technical diploma preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitor process parameters including melt temperatures, shot profiles, injection speeds, intensification pressures, cycle times, and die lubrication
• Analyze and resolve casting defects (porosity, cold shuts, soldering)
• Optimize machine parameters for new product launches and existing runs
• Maintain process standardization with setup sheets and operating instructions
• Execute production trials with quality and engineering teams to improve first-pass yield and reduce scrap
• Support quality and inspection using X-ray data to meet customer specs
• Train floor personnel on standardized process parameters and best practices
