FormFactor, Inc. is seeking a Senior Probe Test Engineer to sustain and optimize probe card test operations in a high-volume semiconductor environment. You will collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and product engineering to enhance yield, reliability, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related engineering field.
• Experience in semiconductor test operations, probe card manufacturing, wafer probing, or related environments.
• Proficiency with statistical analysis tools to evaluate yield, process capability, and equipment performance.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, and test plans.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills; ability to work independently on complex issues.
• Knowledge of electrical measurements (resistance, capacitance, continuity, voltage).
• Experience using Excel, JMP, Minitab, Python or similar tools for data analysis.
• Experience sustaining, calibrating, troubleshooting, and optimizing ATE, wafer probers, metrology, and probe-card equipment.
• Technical proficiency with Onto PRVX4 and ProbeWorx300 Probe Card Analyzer.
• Experience with advanced diagnostic tools for yield analysis, process control, and failure investigation.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, SPC and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Optimize test programs and methodologies to improve product performance, test efficiency, and throughput.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, calibrate, and support production test hardware, fixtures, and probe card systems.
• Perform root cause analysis for hardware failures, test escapes, yield degradation, and production issues.
• Analyze electrical test data and equipment logs to identify trends and drive corrective actions.
• Monitor production test performance and implement improvements to quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Product Engineering and Quality to resolve technical issues.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase uptime, reduce setup times, and improve yield.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation, test methods, and SOPs.
• Support new product introductions by validating test processes and qualification plans.
• Drive data-driven decisions using statistical methods and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety requirements, and cleanroom procedures.
