Job summary

FormFactor, Inc. is seeking a Senior Probe Test Engineer to optimize probe card test operations and drive root cause analysis in a high-volume semiconductor environment.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and product engineering to improve yield and reliability across advanced technologies. The role emphasizes data-driven decisions, test program enhancements, and continuous improvement through Lean/Six Sigma practices, with on-site responsibilities in Farmers Branch, TX.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in semiconductor test operations or related manufacturing environments.
• Experience with test equipment operations and RCA in high-volume settings.
• Knowledge of electrical measurements and data-driven yield analysis.
• Proficiency with Excel, JMP/Minitab or Python for data analysis.
• Strong communication and ability to work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Optimize test programs to improve product performance and throughput.
• Maintain and support production test hardware, fixtures, and probe systems.
• Perform detailed root cause analysis for hardware failures and test escapes.
• Analyze test data, process metrics, and logs to drive improvements.
• Enhance equipment uptime, reduce setup times, and improve yield.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Product Engineering, and Quality teams.
• Develop and validate test processes and qualification plans.
• Create engineering docs, procedures, and SOPs.
• Support new product introductions with robust test methods.
