Job summary

FormFactor Inc. in Beaverton, Oregon, seeks a Sr. Principal Field Service Engineer to install, qualify, troubleshoot, and optimize probe card systems and test interfaces.

You will lead advanced technical service, collaborate with Product Engineering and Manufacturing, and travel domestically and internationally to customer sites. You will mentor Field Service Engineers, drive root cause analysis, support new product introductions, and contribute to service procedures and documentation while

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years with a Master’s; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex semiconductor equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, qualify, troubleshoot, and optimize FormFactor probe card systems and related test interfaces.
• Respond to customer requests with onsite visits, remote diagnostics, and timely follow-up.
• Lead root cause investigations and drive containment actions to prevent recurrence.
• Mentor field service engineers and contribute to service procedures and training.
