Job summary

PGIM, the asset management arm of Prudential, is seeking a Senior Associate to lead Asset Based Finance operations in a hybrid Newark, NJ setting. You will oversee deal onboarding, trade settlement, funding, asset servicing, and secondary market activities while partnering with Portfolio Management, Legal, and external stakeholders.

The role emphasizes operational excellence, risk management, and people leadership, with opportunities to scale the business and develop team talent.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in Financial Services, with Investment Operations experience.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience.
• Strong MS Office skills.
• Strong judgment and risk-based decision-making.
• Excellent leadership presence and stakeholder management.
• Ability to manage multiple strategic priorities under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Investment Operations professionals, driving performance and development.
• Coordinate deal execution with deal teams, counsel, and fund management.
• Capture and maintain IBOR positions and records in OMS.
• Oversee end-to-end wire payment processes and settlement.
• Coordinate private asset transfers and daily cash forecasting.
• Research cash/position breaks with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare recurring/ad hoc reports to support decision-making.
• Identify process improvements and automation to boost efficiency.
