Job summary

GEICO is seeking a seasoned privacy leader to oversee operational privacy compliance across the organization, reporting to the Data Privacy Director. The role emphasizes risk identifications, reporting maturity, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement in a regulated financial services context.

The ideal candidate brings prior team leadership in privacy programs, deep knowledge of CCPA/GLBA obligations, and hands-on experience with privacy tools such as OneTrust.

Qualifications

• IAPP certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree with focus on business administration, information system management, or related field is required.
• 7 plus years experience in supporting data privacy programs.
• Experience in a regulated financial services industry role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Privacy Assessments and Privacy by Design initiatives including collaboration with business/technical stakeholders and development of associated reporting that accurately identifies privacy risk and recommendations.
• Support Director in management reporting and communication of program maturity and privacy risk.
• Support ongoing optimization of GRE tools. OneTrust experience required.
• Provide effective leadership for data privacy incident response.
• Assist in development of notices, policies and procedures
• Support regulatory change management including creation of operational privacy action plans and privacy by design requirements.
