Job summary

GEICO is seeking an experienced privacy leader to support our Data Privacy program and objectives. The role focuses on privacy assessments, governance, incident response, and cross‑functional collaboration to manage risk.

The ideal candidate has IAPP certification, 7+ years of privacy experience, knowledge of CCPA/GLBA, and OneTrust expertise. This hybrid role requires on-site presence three days per week near Virginia Beach.

Qualifications

• IAPP certification is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information system management, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in supporting data privacy programs.
• Experience in a regulated financial services industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Privacy Assessments and privacy by Design initiatives with stakeholders and reporting.
• Support Director in management reporting of program maturity and privacy risk.
• Support ongoing optimization of GRE tools; OneTrust experience required.
• Provide effective leadership for data privacy incident response.
• Assist in development of notices, policies and procedures.
• Support regulatory change management with operational privacy action plans.
