Job summary

GEICO in Cleveland is seeking an experienced data privacy leader to help direct privacy programs across the organization. Reporting to the Data Privacy Director, you will lead privacy assessments, drive privacy by design, and engage cross-functional partners to identify and mitigate privacy risk.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in privacy programs, IAPP certification, and strong knowledge of CCPA/GLBA with OneTrust experience.

Qualifications

• IAPP certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information system management, or related field is required.
• 7+ years experience in supporting data privacy programs.
• Experience in a regulated financial services industry role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Privacy Assessments and Privacy by Design initiatives including collaboration with business/technical stakeholders and development of associated reporting that accurately identifies privacy risk and recommendations.
• Support Director in management reporting and communication of program maturity and privacy risk.
• Support ongoing optimization of GRE tools. OneTrust experience required.
• Provide effective leadership for data privacy incident response.
• Assist in development of notices, policies and procedures
• Support regulatory change management including creation of operational privacy action plans and privacy by design requirements.
