Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Privacy Governance Senior Manager to lead a team of privacy engineers and advance the company’s privacy program. This role focuses on consent management, cookie governance, opt-out mechanisms, and privacy library maintenance, while aligning with regulatory requirements across the enterprise.

You will collaborate with Privacy Legal, Data Strategy, Engineering, and Product to ensure technically sound and compliant privacy practices, and you’ll drive onboarding of brands

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 8+ years in related field or equivalent combination.
• Strong experience operating within or leading a privacy compliance program.
• Working knowledge of U.S. state privacy regulations; privacy engineering exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of privacy engineers for consent management, cookie governance, and privacy library maintenance.
• Advance privacy compliance across the enterprise in partnership with Legal, Data Strategy, Engineering, and Product.
• Onboard brands and acquisitions into Cox Automotive's centralized privacy program and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to embed privacy-by-design in the development lifecycle and drive adoption of privacy standards.
