The role includes counseling on privacy, cybersecurity, e-commerce, CRM, marketing, and financial services, with responsibility for instituting governance, notices, and training. The ideal candidate will have a J.D., 8+ years of experience, privacy certifications, and the ability to lead a privacy team while advising across departments.

Qualifications

• J.D. is required and 8+ years of experience are required.
• Professional privacy certifications (e.g., CIPP/US, CIPP/E) or equivalent are preferred.
• Strong understanding of federal and state privacy laws, data use regulations, breach notification requirements, and AI-related considerations.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance on privacy, cybersecurity, AI, data governance, and related policies and procedures.
• Advise on e-commerce, CRM, marketing, financial services, and related privacy compliance issues.
• Develop and maintain the company’s privacy program, policies, notices, consents, training, and compliance reporting.
