Job summary

Lennar is seeking a senior in-house counsel to lead the data privacy function and oversee the privacy program. You will provide practical privacy and commercial legal guidance on data collection, use, sharing, retention, and cross-border transfers across the business.

You will negotiate data processing, vendor, and technology agreements, drive AI governance efforts, mentor junior attorneys, and partner with senior leadership to implement controls and respond to regulatory developments.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of legal experience with data privacy matters and complex tech transactions.
• J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lennar's data privacy function and maintain the privacy program.
• Provide practical privacy and commercial legal advice on data collection, use, sharing, retention, and cross-border transfers.
• Draft and negotiate data processing agreements, vendor and technology agreements, and data-sharing arrangements.
• Oversee outside counsel, budgets, and strategic risk management.
• Mentor attorneys and legal professionals and scale the privacy team.
