Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, seeks a Principal Systems Security / Cyber Engineer to join the Product Cybersecurity Organization in Aurora, CO. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and onsite work with no relocation assistance.

You will develop robust security solutions across hardware, software, and applications, supporting warfighter systems and regulatory compliance, while mentoring teammates and interfacing with multiple engineering teams.

Qualificações

• Typically requires a STEM degree with 8+ years of experience or a related advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Active TS/SCI clearance is required prior to start date.
• Experience with RMF and DoD A&A processes, NIST SP 800-37/53 alignment.

Responsabilidades

• Design secure architectures, assess infrastructure, and define system security requirements and policies.
• Develop RMF artifacts and validate controls for ATOs; advise junior engineers.
• Analyze cybersecurity data to identify vulnerabilities and track security performance.
• Conduct cybersecurity audits to verify tool implementations and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with software/Systems engineering to harden systems and document findings.
• Travel CONUS/OCONUS up to 25% as required.
