Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, seeks a Principal Systems Engineer to lead full lifecycle solutions for ground and airborne systems. You will guide CONOPS to Validation, act as SME, manage lab setups, and ensure scalable interfaces across hardware and software.

The role requires a SECRET clearance, U.S. citizenship, and a STEM background with extensive experience. Onsite in Marlborough, MA with strong collaboration across IPTs and customers.

Qualifications

• Strong integration and test experience with test procedures, execution, reporting, and automation.
• Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
• Proficient with Microsoft products and tasking boards (Jira, IBM EWM).
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility.
• STEM degree and minimum 8 years of experience or advanced degree with 5 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development of full lifecycle solutions from CONOPS to Validation.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert with advanced knowledge of the work area.
• Oversee lab activities including setup, configuration management, and testing.
• Ensure Modeling, Hardware, and Software Interfaces are scalable.
• Oversee integration of solutions within target environments.
• Coach and delegate work of junior professionals.
• Contribute to goals and planning in discipline (Cost and Schedule).
• Influence policies, practices and procedures.
