Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, seeks a Senior Principal Embedded Systems Security Engineer to support US military programs and protect critical networks. Onsite in Marlborough, MA or Largo, FL, reporting to the Senior Manager of Cybersecurity Engineering, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement security features and verification strategies.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in STEM, an active SECRET clearance, US citizenship, and hands‑on RMF, embedded cryptography, and

Qualifications

• ACTIVE and transferable SECRET clearance required prior to start.
• U.S. citizenship required for security clearances.
• Experience in requirement definition, allocation, and decomposition.
• Experience with RMF, embedded cryptography, and cybersecurity.
• Experience with DOORS, JIRA, CONFLUENCE; MBSE tools desirable.

Responsibilities

• Define cybersecurity requirements, allocation, and verification with system engineering.
• Lead design discussions and architecture artifacts with cross-functional teams.
• Integrate cybersecurity into system design with engineers and developers.
• Lead System Verification and Validation, write test plans, analyses, and remediation.
• Generate and manage cybersecurity documentation (e.g., RMF plans).
• Collaborate as part of a System Security engineering team and mentor others.
• Stay current on evolving threats and industry best practices as SME.
