Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a senior systems engineer in Utah to lead a small engineering team and guide the design integration for the Sentinel weapon system. The role focuses on architecture development, system definition, and milestone-focused activities in a fast-paced defense program.

Responsibilities include performing trade studies, defining system performance, and coordinating with customers to meet Milestone B criteria.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 8 years (BS) or 6 years (MS) or 4 years (PhD) experience.
• US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance within the last 6 years.
• Experience developing or reviewing requirements in DOORS or similar tool.
• 2+ years in team environments with leadership responsibilities.
• 1+ year creating, updating, and maintaining system performance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of systems engineers and guide architecture development for Sentinel.
• Develop system-level architecture from Weapon System Specification to CI definition.
• Perform trade studies for milestones such as SFR, CDR, and PDR.
• Develop product support for various milestone activities and Sentinel MPEs.
• Collaborate with Sentinel customer base to negotiate and execute MPE criteria for Milestone B.
