Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer (T4) to join the Marine Systems organization. You will develop and verify system requirements, manage interfaces, and lead reviews for launcher hardware supporting Navy platforms.

Required are 8+ years in STEM, DOORS and MBSE experience, and US citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. The role demands strong communication and autonomous as well as collaborative work in a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 6 years, or PhD with 4 years.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manage interfaces.
• Experience with system drawings and documents such as DOORS, VCRM, and MBSE concepts.

Responsibilities

• Perform requirements development, system integration, verification and validation, and cost/risk analyses.
• Translate customer requirements into total hardware and software specifications.
• Create and update system/sub-system specifications and DOORS documents.
• Lead/participate in internal and external reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, IRR, TRR).
• Develop and refine Model Based System Engineering products and state machines.
