Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer (Level 4) to join the Marine Systems team in support of launcher hardware for Navy platforms.

You will perform requirements analysis, system integration, verification and traceability while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions. The role requires strong communication, the ability to read technical drawings, and experience with MBSE and DOORS.

Qualifications

• BS in STEM with 8+ years of relevant experience; or MS with 6+ years; or PhD with 4+ years.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience with requirements and interface management.
• Familiarity with system drawings and documents (VCRM, interfaces).
• US citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform requirements development, system integration, verification and validation.
• Translate customer requirements into hardware/software specifications.
• Create and update System/Subsystem specs and VCRM.
• Update drawings and documents like Interface Control Documents.
• Lead or participate in SRR, PDR, CDR, IRR, TRR reviews.
• Contribute to MBSE products and modeling efforts.
