Job summary

RTX in Woburn, MA seeks a Senior Principal Systems Engineer to lead radar system requirements, architectures and algorithms for SE LRR, delivering world‑class Missile Defense & Sensor capabilities on site.

You will guide cross‑functional teams, analyze performance data, prototype new algorithms, present plans to leadership and customers, and ensure proper implementation of requirements within agile software efforts, while maintaining active security clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree and minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency with Matlab, C/C++, Java, and DOORS.
• Experience in systems analysis, algorithms, requirements development, issue investigation/resolution and/or signal processing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Lead radar system requirements, architectures and algorithms.
• Analyze radar performance data against requirements and identify deficiencies.
• Prototype new algorithms to enhance system performance.
• Present plans and system performance to peers, leadership and customers.
• Provide SME to agile software development teams to ensure proper implementation of requirements.
• Assist other systems engineers in investigations and analysis.
