Job summary

RTX's Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities group in the SE LRR department seeks a Senior Principal Systems Engineer to lead radar system requirement definitions and architectures on site in Woburn, MA. You will work with software and test teams to ensure robust implementations and performance improvements.

The role demands a strong background in radar systems, systems analysis, and algorithms, with experience in MATLAB, C/C++, Java, and DOORS, and requires active security clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with radar system performance analysis and requirements flow-down.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, C/C++, Java, and DOORS; familiarity with signal processing.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to define radar system requirements and architectures.
• Collaborate with software development and integration/test teams to ensure proper implementation.
• Analyze radar system performance data against requirements and identify deficiencies.
• Prototype new algorithms to enhance system performance.
• Present plans and results to peers, leadership, and customers.
