Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Principal Systems Engineer for its SE&T Surface Radars & Sensors Center in US-MA. The role leads a small team of Radar Systems Engineers, coordinating analysis, testing, and corrective actions across RF, mechanical, and cyber domains.

The candidate will liaise with program management and IPTs, support international and DoD programs, and travel up to 10% domestically or internationally. A STEM degree and 10+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, C/C++, Linux/Unix and shell scripting.
• Experience in systems engineering, radar data analysis, integration, verification, validation and testing.
• Familiarity with electronic schematics/diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Manage execution of radar sustaining engineering scope and approve deliverables.
• Support program growth via processes, people, and tools improvements.
• Lead internal status meetings and develop weekly technical status reports.
• Support maintenance event planning with site team, logistics, and maintenance planning.
• Provide guidance on fault isolation, root cause identification, and corrective actions.
• Interact with program managers and leadership to meet business objectives.
