Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Civil Design Engineer to support the Sentinel program.

The role will be located in Manhattan Beach, CA or Roy, UT and will focus on civil/structural design, modeling, and integration for Sentinel launch facilities and supporting infrastructure. The ideal candidate has a STEM degree with several years of relevant experience, strong collaboration skills, and familiarity with structural design standards.

Qualifications

• US citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance.
• Bachelors in Science or STEM with 5+ years of experience; or Masters with 3+ years; or PhD with 0 years.

Responsibilities

• Oversee civil/structural systems design for Sentinel infrastructure and facilities.
• Review subcontractors' civil/structural designs for compliance with standards.
• Support design/model reviews and development of TDPS and IFC packages.
