Job summary

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 10+ years of experience; or an Advanced Degree with 7+ years experience.
• Experience in structural analysis software (PATRAN, NASTRAN, ANSYS) and guidelines CMH-17.
• High temperature material systems for hypersonic aerospace.
• Ability to lead technical reviews and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed structural analysis and testing across program life cycles.
• Generate test plans to validate analyses and verify hardware against requirements.
• Analyze test data to validate models and derive mechanical loads and environments.
• Lead technical peer reviews and act as SME for MA&T processes and tools.
• Present results to internal stakeholders and external customers.
• Generate archival technical reports and travel to test sites as needed.
• Lead teams to meet program milestones and contribute to cross-disciplinary discussions.
• Coordinate with government and external customers on technical discussions.
