Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks a Senior Principal Structural Engineer, High Temp Materials, to lead advanced analyses of refractory metals, ceramics and CMCs across development and production programs. You will perform detailed structural analyses, develop test plans, review peer work, and present results to internal and external customers.

The role requires leading teams, defining MA&T processes, and ensuring milestone delivery onsite at RTX’s facilities.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree with extensive experience (min 10 years) or an advanced degree with at least 7 years in structural engineering.
• Experience in structural analysis using FE tools (PATRAN, NASTRAN, ANSYS or equivalent).
• Experience with high-temperature materials for aerospace applications and CMH-17 guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed structural analysis and testing to support programs.
• Generate test plans and validate analyses against requirements.
