Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks a Senior Principal Structural Engineer with expertise in high-temperature materials. The role covers detailed structural analysis, testing, and leading MA&T processes across development and production programs.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with high-temperature material systems and CMH-17 guidelines, and holds the ability to obtain/maintain US security clearance. Onsite work in Tucson is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM and 10+ years of experience, or an advanced degree with 7+ years.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed structural analysis and testing across all program phases.
• Coordinate and lead technical peer reviews to ensure accuracy of work products.
• Present results to internal stakeholders and external customers.
• Generate detailed archival technical reports and support test planning.
• Travel to test sites to support discussions and testing when required.
• Lead teams to meet program milestones and contribute to MA&T processes.
