Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Senior Principal Quality Engineer for Collins Aerospace ECS. You will lead customer quality initiatives, drive quality plans, and coordinate with supply chain and engineering to meet military and commercial requirements.

You will analyze quality data, implement continuous improvement, and support audits while traveling up to 20% as needed. U.S. citizenship is required for program access.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Advanced degree with 5+ years of experience; without degree, 10 years may be required.
• U.S. Citizenship required for access to program data.
• Experience using Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Experience with SAP and RCCA/problem-solving using 8D or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and communicate key points to the supply chain.
• Develop and implement quality plans and RCCA processes to meet customer requirements.
• Analyze quality data to support continuous improvement and COPQ reductions.
• Support customer audits and interface with engineering on process changes.
• Provide production process analysis and recommend quality improvements.
• Travel up to 10–20% as needed.
