Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience, Master’s degree with 3 years of experience, Ph.D. with 1 year of experience in STEM fields; additional 4 years may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S Government Secret Clearance prior to starting.
• Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP) prior to start.
• 5 years of experience in design and development of ruggedized electro-mechanical and/or opto-mechanical hardware.
• 5 years of experience with mechanical CAD design tools such as Siemens NX or similar.
• 5 years of demonstrated application of innovative solutions to complex problems.
• 5 years of experience leading and reviewing technical work products of peers.
• 5 years of experience presenting at design reviews and customer/stakeholder briefings.

Aufgaben

• Lead and contribute to design reviews and customer briefings.
• Develop ruggedized hardware and support all lifecycle phases from concept to environmental test.
• Manage schedules and budgets for assigned projects.
• Collaborate across IPTs and interface with stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive knowledge transfer and process improvements.
