Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Baltimore, MD seeks a Principal Electronics Engineer or Senior Principal Electronics Engineer to lead the development of cables and interconnects for multiple platforms. You will work within a high-performing Hardware Engineering team, interfacing with mechanical engineers, analysts, program management, and customers while managing schedules and budgets.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, ability to obtain a Secret clearance, and SAP access.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance prior to starting.
• Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP) prior to start.
• 5 years of experience in design and development of electrical harnesses for power distribution, RF, and fiber optics

Responsibilities

• Develop cables and interconnects for all platforms including restricted space, air, ground and sea/naval systems in Baltimore, MD.
• Lead engineering teams and interface with mechanical engineers, analysts, and customers.
• Manage schedule and budget for assigned projects and communicate issues.
• Contribute to knowledge base and process improvements within the organization.
