Job summary

RTX is seeking a Sr. Principal Test and Validation Engineer in Manufacturing Design. You will drive manufacturing test strategies and support from development to production across multiple programs, shaping testing practices and process improvements.

This onsite role is based in Tucson, AZ, requiring ability to obtain security clearance and leading cross-functional teams. You will mentor MDTEs/PTEs, influence program decisions, and collaborate with suppliers and internal customers to ensure high

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM fields required with 10+ years of experience.
• Leadership experience in fast-paced technical/manufacturing environments.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders to drive decisions on test strategy.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the manufacturing test authority across multiple programs.
• Lead the implementation and maturation of production manufacturing test solutions.
• Define enterprise-level test strategies and architecture to improve readiness, capacity and maturity.
• Drive continuous process improvements to reduce cycle time and cost using Six Sigma/CORE.
• Develop testability and influence design for manufacturing across programs.
