RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Sr. Principal Test and Validation Engineer in Manufacturing Design.

You will drive technical test support from development through production across multiple programs, shaping manufacturing test strategies and boosting product producibility. Responsibilities include leading test solutions, defining enterprise-level test architecture, improving cycle time and cost, mentoring MDTEs/PTEs, and collaborating across factories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and 10+ years of experience.
• Leadership in fast-paced technical or manufacturing environments.
• Experience defining test strategies and collaborating with stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the manufacturing test authority across multiple programs.
• Lead the implementation of production test solutions and maturation.
• Define enterprise-level test strategies and drive readiness across sites.
• Manage large-scale design and improvements to manufacturing processes.
• Recommend design changes to improve cost, efficiency and quality.
• Ensure quality control procedures thoroughly evaluate products.
• Lead Continuous Process Improvements using Six Sigma/CORE principles.
• Apply test engineering skills across the value stream and production transition.
• Mentor MDTEs/PTEs and lead cross-functional program initiatives.
