Job summary

Lilly is hiring for a Safety, Health & Environment role to support a new manufacturing site in Richmond, VA. The role will manage contractor safety and CSMP compliance as the site transitions to HSE operations for manufacturing.

Responsibilities include coaching project teams, leading safety orientations, ensuring regulatory permits, and guiding incident investigations, with a focus on risk reduction and regulatory alignment across global sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
• 5+ years of HSE experience.
• Experience in 29 CFR 1926 construction with capital projects.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Support GFD’s Contractor Safety Management Program (CSMP) implementation.
• Coach project teams on CSMP compliance and safety standards.
• Lead project safety orientation and training.
• Ensure environmental permits align with local regulations.
• Lead investigations and root cause analyses of incidents.
