Job summary

Lilly is constructing an advanced manufacturing facility in Goochland County, Virginia. The Senior Director HSE will develop and maintain site HSE programs, oversee operations, and ensure compliance with global standards to enable GMP manufacturing during startup and subsequent operations.

The role leads the HSE team, partners with Global Facilities Delivery, and scales safety culture, inspects regulatory readiness, and drives strategic HSE initiatives for a successful launch and ongoing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline.
• 5+ years leading HSE teams and programs, preferably with PSM experience.
• Experience in manufacturing HSE and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HSE organization across startup and operations.
• Define HSE priorities, roadmaps, and systems.
• Ensure compliance with Title V and regulatory standards.
• Benchmark practices and develop future HSE leadership.
